Do you remember when I went to Genie Tech 2014 and I saw my friend Kathleen Brandt of a3Genealogy? This week she published a post called Understanding MtDNA. It's a short post which, with the help of infographics, explains the 3 regions of MtDNA.
While we're on the DNA train, my friend Susan published a post called My DNA MIA Ancestors. has developed a GREAT way to keep track of her possible DNA matches using her pedigree chart. She can easily see which ancestors she has had possible DNA matches with and which ones she is lacking. I'm going to have to try this with my possible DNA matches.
We had a milestone in our house this week! Isaiah turned TEN years old. He had a small party at a bowling alley the day before his birthday and then on his birthday he got to pick what we had for dinner. We enjoyed pizza that night whether we wanted to or not! Out of all of the roles that I have in life, none could ever mean as much to me as being Isaiah and Gabriel's Aunt Acey.
Have a great weekend!
